Project
The #HPCMatters campaign seeks to bring high-level exposure and understanding of High Performance Computing (HPC), to a diverse audience of policymakers, conference participants, and the general public. NCSA Public Affairs’ response to the SC14 HPC Matters Video Challenge imagines parallel processing in a world without supercomputers.
My Role
I art directed this project, helping to develop the concept and tone, refine the script, cast NCSA staff and family members, hire videographers, and produce graphics for the film. In addition to winning the contest, the video was successful in spreading awareness about the importance of HPC and helping to start conversations on a personal level.
