Camp Drake Billboard Campaign
The Prairieland Council chapter of Boy Scouts of America commissioned this billboard campaign honoring the 75th anniversary season of Camp Drake. My billboard designs were chosen as one of three separate campaigns that were instrumental in increasing enrollment numbers for the 75th anniversary season.
For decades Camp Drake has had a proud tradition of teaching boys through a series of outdoor activities meant to foster team-building, citizenship, and ecological responsibility. Special emphasis is focused on aquatics activities, sports, and conservation education.
While the You’ll Always Remember Camp Drake campaign engaged potential camp attendees with tongue-in-cheek humor, the primary target audience was composed of parents and leaders who were the ultimate decision-makers in the enrollment process. Through a black and white color palette and humorous photography, the campaign draws on nostalgia to bring home the point that values learned at Camp Drake will serve attendees for the remainder of their lives.
